چکیده

Underwater Sensor Network (UWSN) is gaining popularity among researchers due to its peculiar features. But there are so many challenges in the design of UWSN system, and these quite unsustainable dynamic nature water waves. Perhaps most tedious challenge for UWSNs how transfer data at destination with a minimal energy rate. It can be accomplished by exploiting geographic opportunistic routing schemes send efficiently surface sinks cooperation relay nodes. With this aim, we introduce new protocol routing, named Geographic Cooperative Opportunistic Routing Protocol (GCORP). In GCORP, packets routed from source node coordination intermediate GCORP protocol, initially, multiple sinks-based network architecture established. Then, forwarding set being determined on basis depth fitness factor. Finally, best through weight calculation scheme set. We conduct simulations NS3 validate proposed concerning different metrics. The conclude that shows better performance than existing approaches.

A Novel Cooperative Opportunistic Routing Scheme for Underwater Sensor Networks

Increasing attention has recently been devoted to underwater sensor networks (UWSNs) because of their capabilities in the ocean monitoring and resource discovery. UWSNs are faced with different challenges, the most notable of which is perhaps how to efficiently deliver packets taking into account all of the constraints of the available acoustic communication channel. The opportunistic routing p...

Cooperative Opportunistic Pressure Based Routing for Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks

In this paper, three opportunistic pressure based routing techniques for underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs) are proposed. The first one is the cooperative opportunistic pressure based routing protocol (Co-Hydrocast), second technique is the improved Hydrocast (improved-Hydrocast), and third one is the cooperative improved Hydrocast (Co-improved Hydrocast). In order to minimize lengthy ...

A Secure Routing Algorithm for Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks

Recently, underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs) attracted the interest of many researchers and the past three decades have held the rapid progress of underwater acoustic communication. One of the major problems in UWSNs is how to transfer data from the mobile node to the base stations and choosing the optimized route for data transmission. Secure routing in UWSNs is necessary for packet d...

Geographic routing protocols for underwater wireless sensor networks: a survey

Underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSN), similar to the terrestrial sensor networks, have different challenges such as limited bandwidth, low battery power, defective underwater channels, and high variable propagation delay. A crucial problem in UWSN is finding an efficient route between a source and a destination. Consequently, great efforts have been made for designing efficient protocols ...

An Efficient and Reliable Geographic Routing Protocol Based on Partial Network Coding for Underwater Sensor Networks

Efficient routing protocols for data packet delivery are crucial to underwater sensor networks (UWSNs). However, communication in UWSNs is a challenging task because of the characteristics of the acoustic channel. Network coding is a promising technique for efficient data packet delivery thanks to the broadcast nature of acoustic channels and the relatively high computation capabilities of the ...
